1:1800 HMS Hermes (95) 1942

HMS Hermes was a British aircraft carrier and the worlds first ship to be designed as an aircraft carrier. She was commissioned in 1924, reclassified as a training ship in 1938 and 1 year later reclassified as an Aircraft Carrier. Her Pennant number was 95. She was sunk by Japanese aircraft 9th April 1942.As build she was armed with six single 5.5 inch guns for surface action and three single 4 inch AA guns. Her AA was upgraded over the years.
