1:1800 Hr.Ms.Van Kinsbergen
Hr.Ms. Van Kinsbergen was a Royal Netherlands Navy Gunnery training vessel including anti-sub marine capabilities for escort operations. She served in the Caribbean during WW2. Possible one of the most interesting things is that the Van Kinsbergen demonstrated the stabilized 40 mm Bofors AA-guns to US Navy specialists and naval authorities in 1940. Resulting in the large scale production of this system by the Americans.
After WW2 the Swedish Bofors company was financially compensated for the use of their patents.
She survived WW2, and served in the Netherlands Navy until she was scrapped in 1974.The printed example is in 1:1000th scale. NOTE: The base is NOT included
