1:1800 Prins van Oranje class minelayers

The Prins van Oranje was a class of two minelayers of the Netherlands Royal Navy. Build in the early 1930s for services in the Dutch East Indies. Both ships were in services at the start of WW2, both ships were lost.

Hr.Ms. Prins van Oranje. Attacked 12 Jan 1942 by the IJN Destroyer Yamakaze and Patrol vessel PB38 and sunk by gunfire.

Hr.Ms. Gouden Leeuw. Scuttled near Surabaya to prevent capture by Japanese forces.decommissioned in January 1950.

The ships were armed with two 75mm Guns, two 40mm Machine Guns, two 12.7mm Machine guns and could carry 150 mines.
